Febuary 18th, the year 2007 Ugh another round stuff getting posted before I was ready. Okay, Part IV is up, so the story section is finished, (but my side stories are still paper only, and I'm going to edit them as I post them. I'm going to have to think about the art book for some time before I get it rebuilt. It may not quite fit the pattern, similar to the archives pages. Anywho, with the exception of the Artbook I'm completely on setting with the new format. I might even get the Artbook in today, and atleast some spacers for all the yet unfinished pages (Info and other projects and so forth.) The local gang is starting a Ptolus campaign, and depending on how that goes I might get some ideas for how certain parts of the larger cities in the world will work... here's hoping... And thanks for the patience guys... --Noble Febuary 1st, the year 2007 Joy, dad got the subversion scripts finished before I was done with this... I was simply going to change the date on the announcement of return before everything was up. Now the new page is there with a lare mess of still butsted links and so forth. I must appologize for this. Please bear with me on getting the page up completely. If you reach this page simply use the Story link to get to the old page, which is still up. --Noble January 30th, the year 2007 Well, It's been way to long. Anyone who pays attention knows I was working on page and storie updates just before the site disappeared. I didn't get a whole lot of warning. We were making security updates to the web server at the house when one of the hard drives started to make the "I'm on my last legs." Noises, so the option was turn the server off, and unplug it until we could afford a new drive. (Some personal issues outside the site maintance was making the "afford" harder than one would expect.) But now were back, and I've had a chance (With some serious help from Dan Schulz and Jason Knight from CBT) to bring my html skills a little closer to current. I never expected this hobby to get so complicated when I started making pages as a kid. Then again, I never expected some of the things you can DO on the internet either. Anyways. There's a few new super-shorts, up in the "Other Stories" section. Some of which are directly related to primary characters and some of which are more to help build the world for gamers and a little consistancy in the stories. I haven't heard from Aree, but some local interest in the story has convinced me to try and devote more time to it. Here's hoping. The site is significantly less clunky now, and the story is trying to fall into place. Here's hoping that I can come up with more stories and decide where Neris and Pysura's journeys will take them in the middle. The old page is down, but everything on the old page is on the new in one fashion or another. For older announcements there's this text file. The stories are in the story section, again with direct link to the current story, and links to the archives. Aree's art is still there, and I'm hoping (as the new empty page suggests) that there will be some more art for the DND players to get some ideas of whats going on, this will include maps, perhaps character images, images of special places. Its by far stuff I can't do alone, but I have some friends who are willing to give it a shot. So keep an eye out. --Noble June 17, the year 2006 Well it has most certainly been a while. I have many of the same pointless excusses, school, real life. I also have been fighting with how to continue the story. I can't seem to get ahold of Aree lately. but we did talk a while ago and I do get to add somethings. I hope she finds this and gets ahold of me. Aree: You can find me through your MT forums, AIM, or that email you've got. Anywho, I have some updates, and as you can tell the site has moved again. This time my home server. I must appologize about the port number in the url. Cox has blocked port 80 on home connections. Yet, school's out, I have one of the 2 college degrees I'm shooting for, and things are looking up. There's a few maps on the artwork page. They're horrible because I did them and I've never been good at drawing. I"m gonna let Aree draw better ones when we've got a better idea about details and such. I'm in the process of adding some pages. A character page, guestbook, the "other project" pages, and eventually a forum. The new links won't work until later today. It's a little after midnight and right now I'm going to bed. --Noble Well I got up this morining and finished fixing the page, and set a redirection in the old cox.net location. Yay!! the page is where I want it to be. Now if I can just devote some more time to it consistantly. --Noble January 23 the year 2005: Well, again I must apologize for the long wait, and the fact that we're still without a new piece to the story. However there is new artwork, and the page should be far easier to navigate. The announcements page is now separate. I'm working on updating not only the page but my skills as a webmaster as well. (You have to understand, when I built my last page, people were using HTML 2.0, the current one is 4.01 and most people are leaving it for XHTML (I'm still looking, and am therefore not sure... but probably moving on as well.)) Comments and suggestions are always accepted. The contact information should be in the disclaimer page. (I plan on moving it soon, but I saw a fashion that would require some more work with stuff I don't have yet.) There should be more updates this week. Aree has promised a new banner and I'm working on day 5 which requires sitting down and making some ground rules for the universe. More soon! --Noble September 18 the year 2004: Testing out background provided by Aree. I kinda like it, wish the watermark tag was recognized by Netscape/Mozilla though. Also took out the redundant archives link in the nav bar. --Noble September 27 the year 2004: Liking background, but need to mess with it a little bit. New artwork from ree-chan and a new story installment. Re arranged the story links and posted word files of all the pieces. This should make it easier to manipulate for reading purposes. Also a distractions page and a little clean up. This update was meant for yesterday, but I crashed before I could finish. Have fun!! --Noble November 21 the year 2004: Well, sorry for the long pause. RL and school got kinda in the way. A new story installment and more pics in the gallery. Enjoy. --Noble September 7 the year 2004: The second installment to the story is up. (It may still need some editing, but we dealt with that on the first one too.) The first one is edited, far better on the grammar, and the gradient background is gone. I'm waiting on Aree's artwork for a real basic background. The new one isn't on a gradient either, so it should be easy to read. The plain white on black is hard for me to keep reading when things get long. So we may end up breaking the existing parts into pieces and shortening each new story piece. Also, they will be posted as word documents soon. I just don't want to mess with it while there's only two. Aree's scanner came in over the weekend. She's already got some line art done and is scanning and cleaning. So we should have a really good Artwork bit soon. Wow, what a long note for one update... --Noble September 9 the year 2004: Oh holy crappers. I made some small changes based on the fact that I checked the page at school and realized that my 1280 x 1024 monitor settings at home made this page look a lot better than it did in most people's more standard settings. Just that and a few grammar corrections in piece 2. More to come. --Noble September 3 the year 2004: Some more updating, and some bug fixing. Also, the site will be moved soon, perhaps even before this update is posted. I'm about 2/3rds done with the second installment of story. Hopefully it will be done soon enough to post. Aree's scanner should be in anytime now, expect the Art page to get a massive overworking when that happens. --Noble September 6 the year 2004: W00t! The page is finally moved to a slightly less pain in the but place. It's now on my cox.net personal space. This is still temporary. It will be here for a while, unless cox pisses me off more than angelfire did. (No more trouble with loading images.) --Noble August 21st the year 2004: Page created: Still under heavy construction, still hoping for some artwork from Aree. Give us some time... --Noble August 22 the year 2004: Some small updates, and minor bug fixes. Much farther to go. Contact information in disclaimer. --Noble A little more updating, and some test pieces put up for consideration. The end of the Navigation frame has a concept for a navigation button. Either the buttons will be made and a one color background will be used, or the current background will be used with txt links like already there. Suggestions appreciated! --Noble August 23 the year 2004: More up dating... Aree's working on the artwork page now. It's getting there. I was gonna have her put up the announcement but forgot. --Noble
